Just came online and checked on one of my posts from last night. MUST SAY I am thoroughly disappointed at all the hate one Gale Hawthorne is getting! YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING! With this attitude we’ll have Twilight all other again: Team Gale vs Team Peeta! Yah, LOVE… NOT!!!

Let’s just clear up one thing - the poster in question is not even one issued by Lionsgate. If you have been following what’s been going with the movie and its budget, then I am sure you all know that Lionsgate has already sold the right to the movies to foreign distributors to get back some of the money spent on making the movie. Yes, Lionsgate has created the initial posters - which basically are only those half black half face thingys showing 8 of the characters - but everything else that will be added to those is no longer a responsibility of Lionsgate if outside the US. There’s absolutely no reason bashing on Lionsgate and it certainly is no reason to go all out on Gale, saying he’s all kinds of negative. Because he isn’t!!! If anyone is to be blamed for those posters it’s the distributor - you can wonder if they might have misinterpreted the whole story from book one, although frankly said, Katniss isn’t sure of her love for Peeta until Mockingjay. I mean entirely sure!!! But that’s not the point. I’d like to point out that those posters are close to the toilets of the cinema - oh, here’s a thought, could be possible they just want to show the people where to head when they need a quick pee break, so that could be the sole reason why those posters say Hero and Heroine. Who knows really. But whatever the reason for those “labels” on the poster, it doesn’t justify bashing Gale Hawthorne. With all of this you seriously turn this into just another Twilight. And Hunger Games just simply is NOT TWILIGHT. But it will be if people keep being so hateful towards one of the characters.
Here’s the thing, I don’t like Peeta, I am not a Peeta girl - but what I am saying with this I don’t like Peeta for me. If he were to be real, he wouldn’t appeal to me. Peeta is a very lovable character, honest and caring and I like him for that. I respect him for that. I could never hate him. There’s absolutely no reason to anyway. Both the boys are amazing characters and whether you like the one or the other better should solely be a choice based on personal preferences, not on who’s better for Katniss. Because that is what the whole Team Edward/Team Jacob thing was about and we don’t need that in the Hunger Games, because it’s not about a girl who can’t figure out what supernatural being she likes better. It’s about a girl who becomes a heroine. Katniss is and will always be the center of attention. This is not a love story! IT IS JUST NOT!
